Relying on teaching staff to deliver a regular wellbeing practice isn’t the best way if you want whole-school transformation.

There are too many factors that affect the effectiveness:
– Inconsistent delivery – some classes/teachers doing it and some not
– Quality of practice – some teachers confident, some not
– Staff absence – children missing their practice when a staff memebr isn’t there
– New staff – who trains them mid year?

Staff need time to practice and experience wellbeing for themselves. They want to feel calm, aware of their emotions and kinder to themselves.

If they’re doing the delivery, they’re not practising!

Transforming whole-school wellbeing requires consistency and ease.
