Things happen that make us feel us bad.

Often, if we compare ourselves to others or if things don’t go how we expect them to, we are left with negative feelings.

You might hear your child saying, “I’m rubbish” or “I should be better at…” or “I can’t do it.”

To help your children with these thoughts we can encourage them to notice the feelings attached to the thoughts, by directing them to search in the body.

Paying attention to what’s going on in our body, helps develop awareness of what is REALLY going on – not just the thoughts about what’s going on. There is a big difference here. A difference that you can help your children to be aware of.

Watch the video to find out how.
